Since 1989, Steve Lambert has assisted clients all over Contra Costa and Alameda County from San Ramon to the Hiller Highlands in Berkeley in creating their ideal paradise. Steve has a unique talent for landscape design and installation that reflects his client's taste and personality.
Steve earned his BA in Landscape Design and Contracting from California Polytechnic, San Luis Obisbo in 1986 and received his California Contactors License for both landscaping and pool construction shortly thereafter. In 1988, he earned a Master Gardener Credential from UC Berkeley.
Steve has continued to educate himself on industry trends such as water features and low-voltage landscape lighting. In February, 2002 he completed the Genesis III Aquatic Design School certification on pond design and installation and has also attended multiple classes through the University of Architectural Landscape Lighting where he is one of the founding members.
Steve has served as a board member for both the East Bay Chapter of the CLCA, (CA Landscape Contractors Assoc.) and for the APLD (Assoc. of Professional Landscape Designers). Steve was a Founding Member of NILLA, (National Landscape Lighting Assoc.) and he is a Certified Aquascape Contractor.

Design Associate
Joan joined the Garden Lights team in May of 2005 and with 20 years of experience in landscape project management and landscape design she has been a great asset to the creative side of the business. Joan collaborates with Steve on all designs and makes the magic happen between a cerebral concept, a computer and the end result, your beautiful garden design. |
